Journalism students at AUT University have been reporting annual Pacific Islands Media Association (PIMA) conferences since 2003 and their stories have been published in Te Waha Nui and more recently also on PMC Online and Pacific Scoop.
The training assignment has been popular with students for raising their awareness of Pacific issues and also with PIMA as an archive.
The Old PMC Website has an archive of PIM stories stretching back to 2003.
