MILITARISATION IN THE PACIFIC: Women, peace and security
A conference organised by WILPF Aotearoa. The meeting is an opportunity to discuss and learn about issues of peace and security in the Pacific region. The impact of militarisation on indigenous communities will be a particular focus of the meeting, as will UN Security Council Resolution 1325 and the role of women in conflict management, conflict resolution and sustainable peace.
