Asia-Pacific Journalism graduate
Cassandra Mason graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Communication Studies, majoring in Journalism from AUT University at the end of 2012.
She is originally from Christchurch but studied politics and English literature at the University of Otago and did a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies at the University of Auckland.
She also spent 18 months in Mexico and Argentina studying Latin American politics and history.
Having worked in development in the Pacific, Mason has an interest in Asia-Pacific affairs.
Mason is now working as a reporter for the New Zealand Herald Online.
