FIJI: Media moguls and the suppression of independence

AUCKLAND (Pacific Media Centre / Pacific Media Watch): Since 2009, the Fiji military-backed regime's tight control and self-censorship has prevented the media from being a "watchdog" on government, while some media organisations have become largely propaganda arms for the regime.
