AUCKLAND (Pacific Media Watch): The latest developments in West Papua was discussed when Pacific Media Watch (PMW) editor Daniel Drageset was interviewed by 95bFM's Maddie Farman in today's edition of The Wire.

Drageset talked about the events at the Melanesian Spearhead Group's Leaders' Summit recently, where a roadmap on accession for the West Papua National Coalition for Liberation was drawn up.

The PMW editor also addressed a news story in Samoa, where the Speaker of the House warned journalists could be jailed for up to six months if they misreport news stories from Parliament.

Drageset is regularly interviewed in the Southern Cross segment of The Wire, which airs between 12 noon and 1pm every Monday at the Auckland radio station 95bFM
