Craig Hoyle graduated from AUT University with a Bachelor of Communication Studies in 2013, majoring in journalism with a minor in Spanish.
He recently undertook a six-month exchange at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, and is currently completing his Honours year in Communication Studies.
Craig has had extensive experience in the media industry, working for newsrooms such as TV3 and RadioLive. He has worked behind the scenes on TV shows such as 60 Minutes, 3rd Degree and The Vote, and also worked as a research assistant on a Television New Zealand documentary about the Mount Erebus disaster.
He is particularly interested in politics and diversity, and some of his favourite stories have included going undercover to expose a fraud artist, and covering the rise of extremist movements in Greece in the lead-up to the 2014 Greek municipal elections.
