Marcus Mathiasen Bank is a student journalist from Ballerup, a suburb to the Danish capital of Copenhagen.
He is studying journalism at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus, Denmark. He is part of the Inclusive Journalism Initiative (IJI) exchange programme, and is currently taking several journalistic courses at postgraduate level, including Asia-Pacific Journalism at AUT University.
Marcus is in New Zealand for four months. He has been working as an intern for one and a half years at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, producing morning and afternoon radio shows as well as reporting the news.
He is also very interested in video production, writing and how to bring the news on social media platforms.
Marcus is also keen on strengthening his international reporting skills attached to the Pacific Media Centre.
