PMC contributing journalist
Amelie David is an independent French journalist recently living in New Zealand and now in Tahiti.
A graduate from journalism school at the ESJ Lille, in the north of France, the 24-year-old decided to quit her job in 2015 and travel to New Zealand, a country she had been “dreaming about for a long time to visit”.
She began contributing to Pacific Media Centre Online and Pacific Scoop during a student project in June to compile a series of news reports and interviews about the Rainbow Warrior to mark the 30th anniversary of the bombing by French secret agents on 10 July 1985.
As well as contributing to several New Zealand media, she has appeared on the French-language community radio programme Planet FM's Amuse-Gueule.
