Ida Brock is a student journalist reporting for the Pacific Media Centre and the Pacific Scoop on the Asia-Pacific Journalism Studies paper.
She is of Danish origin and is currently on the Inclusive Journalism Initiative at Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.
When Brock isn’t on exchange on the other side of the world, she lives in Copenhagen and is six months short of having a journalism degree from the Danish School of Media and Journalism. She began her studies in 2012.
Brock spent 18 months as an intern at the national Danish newspaper Berlingske, reporting on topics like politics and immigration. As a part of her internship she also worked at Berlingske News Agency (BNB).
After Brock completed with her internship, she worked as a news coodinator at BNB, monitoring up to 15 news pages, national as well as international, to help keep the agency up to speed.
Ida has mainly worked with print media as well as online reporting.
