Asia Pacific Journalism student journalist 2018
Jessica Marshall was born in Britain and emigrated to New Zealand in 2004. She is a postgraduate journalism student at AUT.
In 2017, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in History and English and started her Postgraduate Diploma in Communication Studies, having become interested in print journalism.
Jessica is currently enrolled in the Asia-Pacific Journalism Studies course offered by the Pacific Media Centre.
She labels herself as a feminist, and has an interest in gender roles across the globe and in women’s rights issues.
