AUDIO: Fijian and Hindi language journalism standards cause concern

MELBOURNE: The interim government in Fiji is concerned at the standard of journalism conducted in the country's two vernacular languages, Fijian and Hindi.

The government-appointed Media Industry Development Authority has begun what it calls a dialogue with the media over the way journalists do their job.

But its head, Professor Subramani, says he would like to address some specific problems with the non-English language media.
