GLOBAL (World Economic Forum/Pacific Media Watch): The World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Report 2016 has been published online. The report aims to understand whether countries are distributing their resources and opportunities equally between women and men irrespective to their incomes.

This research has ranked 144 countries and measured the size of the gender inequality gap in four areas:

·       Educational attainment      

·       Health and survival

·       Economic opportunity

·       Political empowerment
