AUCKLAND (Pacific Media Watch): An investigative journalism manual has been published as an online e-book by UNESCO.Author and journalist Mark Lee Hunter

UNESCO has published Mark Lee Hunter's Story-based inquiry: a manual for investigative journalists, and has links on its website to the electronic version of the book in four languages: English, French, Arabic and Chinese.

UNESCO believes the book fills a gap in the literature in the journalism field and assists writers to put the story together once they have found the information on the subject matter.

Author Mark Hunter was a founding member of the Global Investigative Journalism Network in 2003 and has authored or co-authored some 200 investigative reports for publications around the world.
