Pasifika Connect hosted Pacific Media Network chief executive Letoa Henry Jenkins and his colleagues in the School of Communication Studies Media centre at AUT University today.
They were also treated to visit to the school's Pacific Media Centre.
About 20 students and four staff attended to industry talk.
"The Pacific Media Network team were very enthusiastic about the student engagement, the space and brief visit to PMC," said organiser Isabella Rasch, who is also a Pasifika student adviser and chair of the PMC advisory board.
"They gave the students unique insights into the PMN and numerous opportunities for ongoing relationships."
Leota is keen to talk further with the School of Communication Studies and Pacific Media Centre to develop their internship programme.
