Michael Sergel is a student journalist completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Communication Studies at AUT University.
Starting life on a Waikato dairy farm, he has since lived in Hamilton, Auckland and Wellington.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies and Sociology and a Postgraduate Diploma of Arts in History from Victoria University.
After meeting and interviewing a variety of people in student media and on breakfast radio, Michael has decided to follow a lifelong interest in telling stories and challenging people’s understanding of the world.
