Pacific Media Watch is compiled for the Pacific Media Centre as a regional media freedom and educational resource by a network of journalists, students, stringers and researchers.
The monitoring service was founded in 1996 at the University of Technology, Sydney, and at the University of Papua New Guinea. It was also hosted at the University of the South Pacific for five years.
Since early 2008, it has been supported by staff and postgraduate students of the Pacific Media Centre in the School of Communication Studies at AUT University, Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Items are provided solely for review purposes as a non-profit educational service.
