Reflecting on progress with duty of care

Chris Cramer, global editor for multimedia at Reuters News, reflects on progress with safety of journalist issues and duty of care in the past year and on the challenges ahead.
He recorded this statement for the "Reporting Wars: The Ongoing Challenges" seminar in Auckland, New Zealand, hosted by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), New Zealand Red Cross, AUT University and the Pacific Media Centre on 24 May 2010.
Cramer is also president and a founding member of the International News Safety Institute (INSI), a global organisation devoted to the ethical treatment and safety of journalists.
