KIRIBATI: Independent back in print - editor talks to Pacific Beat

MELBOURNE (Radio Australia Pacific Beat / Pacific Media Watch): The Kiribati Independent newspaper has gone back into publication after being shut down last year by the Ministry of Communications.

The newspaper ceased operations last June after the ministry claimed that the paper and its publisher had breached the Newspaper Registration Act.
