AUCKLAND (Asia Pacific Journalism/Pacific Media Centre): RNZ Nine to Noon media host Dr Gavin Ellis has paid tribute to the postgraduate student journalism at Auckland University of Technology and Pacific Media Centre director Professor David Robie in their reports on Asia Pacific Report.

The latest edition of the students' reports features topics such as the Nauru ban on the ABC, domestic violence in Papua New Guinea, threatened Facebook bans in both PNG and Samoa, a cryptocurrency plan for PNG, an In The Name of Confucius documentary controversy and Kanak independence in New Caledonia.
