If you are planning to enrol for the inaugural Graduate Diploma in Pacific Journalism course at AUT University this year, get your applications in this week.

Enrolments are closing soon for the one-year course and the newly appointed Pasifika journalism lecturer, Radio New Zealand Pacific affairs reporter Richard Pamatatau, will start next month to run the programme.

This course is ideally designed for local Pasifika journalists who have already joined the media industry but who don’t yet have qualifications, people making a transition from another career into journalism or journalists from around the Pacific region.

The programme includes core journalism papers for the final year of the Bachelor of Communication Studies plus three special Pacific papers, including a professional internship.

Information about the programme, the course brochure and online application forms are available on the AUT website:  http://tinyurl.com/4tlw3at
