IJI - Reporting Europe and the Asia-Pacific project

Inclusive Journalism Initiative (IJI) is a mobility project between Auckland University of Technology (Auckland, New Zealand), the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand), the Danish School of Media and Journalism (Aarhuus, Denmark) and the Swedish School of Social Science (Helsinki, Finland). It involves development of journalism curriculum, exchange of students and staff and joint research, including Asia-Pacific journalism studies.

The first group of students for 2014, participants in the Inclusive Journalism Initiative, is about to go abroad.

  • Elesha Edmonds, Alistar Kata, Craig Hoyle and Struan Purdie from AUT are going to the Danish School of Media and Journalism
  • Anne Nordestgaard Dyrehauge and Kristian Stanley Aasted Halse from the Danish School of Media and Journalism are going to Canterbury University
  • Michael Knewstubb and Monique Steele from Canterbury University are going to the Danish School of Media and Communication.
